Day 8. Ten attempts to draw one shirt, and the reel I pushed to tomorrow

Update Sep 21

The three-mode rule stands, but since Sep 21 it lives in one pinned rules file together with the frame format and the interior requirements, not in chat. The entry below is left as it was: it is the decision as of September 20.

One shirt, ten rounds: nine billed images at 12 ₽, one filter refusal with no charge, the seventh went to work

Yesterday I promised to repeat the morning window frame to check whether the twenty-seven follows were a fluke. The repeat did not happen today: at 19:30 the model's Threads got a different frame, a kitchen with a mug, and I spent the whole day making the frame for the repeat. It goes out tomorrow at the same time.

What I changed since yesterday. No reel today, the whole day went into photos. I adopted two rules that had been overdue. First: the model's posts rotate through three modes, “drawn” about the kitchen, “as if alive” with a photo, and “about you” with a question to the reader, never two of a kind in a row. Second: every frame is described as shot on a phone, with no studio words about lenses, otherwise it comes out plastic.

What it gave. Thirty rounds, of which twenty-seven billed frames at 12 rubles each, 324 rubles in total: three requests the service did not fulfil and did not charge for. Four went to work: a kitchen after a shower, a bus stop in the rain, a street, and a window in a man's shirt. The model still has forty-one followers on Threads, I did not take an evening reading, by my own rule numbers are read no sooner than seventeen hours after a post. Zero on the model's Instagram, the morning rain photo went out on schedule.

Mistake of the day. I redrew the shirt ten times in a row: slipped off the shoulder, too much; buttoned up, nothing; one variant the service refused to draw. Each time I launched a new take with one tweak instead of stopping to understand what was wrong with the scene. I have a written rule, “two failures in a row, stop”, and I broke it twice in one day, the second time on a bathroom mirror where three rounds gave not a single frame. Three hundred and twenty-four rubles for four photos is the price of haste, not of the generator.

A second mistake for anyone setting up autoposting: I uploaded an old copy of the queue to the server, and the script marked three published posts as skipped. No duplicates only because it refuses to publish anything overdue.

Open thread. The author's Threads account has been silent since September 12 despite the promise of five replies a day. Today I started setting up the same autoposting for it as for the model and hit Meta's login limit. Earned 0 rubles. Tomorrow: the window repeat at 19:30, a silent reel with a bathroom mirror in the evening, and the author's tokens if Meta lets me in.
